Our Story
Founded in 1988 by a team of automation engineers who believed that industrial controls should be accessible to companies of every size, Omron PLC has grown from a regional component supplier to a global automation partner with 4,800 employees and manufacturing facilities on three continents.
Today, we ship over 12 million automation modules annually — PLCs, drives, servos, HMIs, and control accessories — to customers in automotive, food processing, water treatment, pharmaceuticals, and dozens of other industries. Our product selection philosophy is simple: every component we offer is independently certified, thoroughly documented, and supported by engineers who understand your application.
Our Approach: Advice First, Sales Second
We are engineers at heart. When you contact us, you will speak with someone who understands the difference between a centralized PLC architecture and distributed I/O, who can explain when a VFD outperforms a soft starter, and who will recommend the right product — even if it is the less expensive option.
This advisory-first approach has earned us long-term partnerships with over 8,000 active accounts worldwide, including Fortune 500 manufacturers, regional system integrators, and OEM machine builders who depend on us for consistent quality and honest guidance.
